We are pleased to offer you water soluble wood stains that are non-toxic, available in a wide range of primary colours and wood shades.? The stains come in powder form in sachets for easy storage, each of which makes one pint, (568ml), when dissolved in hot water in a non-metallic container.

Coverage is approximately 40 square feet, (approximately 4m²) per pint, (568ml). They are very economical in use.? The stains are effective on natural wood products, allowing the wood grain to show, and also stain manufactured boards such as MDF. Brushes can be washed out with just warm water. Obviously the stain will also affect skin and clothes so protective clothing and gloves are recommended.

All the liquid stains can be mixed to obtain your perfect shade, it is advisable that the effect is tested on a spare piece of the same material before use.? The stain bottle should be shaken before application; the stain is touch dry in about 20 minutes.

The shelf life is almost unlimited. The stains are attractive and durable when used on their own but to ensure the best long term effect the work could be sealed with a suitable varnish or wax.

The stains have been used in many schools for over 30 years.
